Kris Bertin

Kris Bertin and Alexander Forbes both live in Halifax. Kris has won the Danuta Gleed Literary Award and the Relit Award for Short Fiction for his short story collection Bad Things Happen. Friends since childhood, Kris and Alexander have together created the world of Hobtown, a small village in the Maritime provinces that seems to have stepped straight out of a parallel universe. Set in the 1990s, the story is full of nostalgic nods to that era.
