Meags Fitzgerald

Canadian author Meags Fitzgerald made a name for herself in 2014 with the publication of the graphic novel Photobooth: A Biography. This first book earned her the Doug Wright Spotlight Award and a nomination for the Joe Shuster Awards. Long Red Hair, published in English the following year, was nominated for the Expozine Award and went on to become her first book to be translated into French and published by Pow Pow as Longs cheveux roux. Born in Alberta, Fitzgerald has lived in Montreal since 2013.
