Pierre Bouchard

In 1984, Pierre Bouchard’s career was launched by a drawing contest sponsored by the Desjardins Credit Union in Lac-Saint-Jean, Quebec. Later, in Quebec City, he made a name for himself as co-publisher of Fanzine Bidon and with his comic strip L’île-aux-ours, which won a Bédéis Causa Award in 2008. He then flew to Bordeaux for a comics residency, where he perfected his raw style. Pierre is also known as a painter. He is CEO of the future multinational company NewJoeCool, specializing in clothing.
