Chris Oliveros

Chris Oliveros was born in Montreal in 1966, but grew up in Chomedey, Laval. He founded the publishing house Drawn & Quarterly in 1989 and ran it for 25 years before stepping down as publisher in 2015 to concentrate on his artistic practice. His comics have recently been published in Internazionale in Italy and The Believer in the United States. Are You Ready to Die for the Cause? (published by Drawn & Quarterly in English) is the first volume of a diptych dedicated to the history of the FLQ and the October Crisis of 1970.
