Pow Pow will be headed to the annual Read Quebec Book Fair right here in Montreal this December 7-8! This is a great event put on by the AELAQ and features a ton of great local English-language publishers including Pow Pow, Drawn and Quarterly, The Secret Mountain, Véhicule Press and many more!
This year the Book Fair is moving to a fantastic new location, Casa d’Italia, and will feature expanded programming and workshops, including Comic Book Confessions: Montreal Cartoonists Tell All, a fantastic comics roundtable featuring Éloïse Marseille, Walter Scott, and Chris Oliveros (more info below)! Pow Pow is bringing a gaggle of our amazing authors to the event this year, so don’t miss the new and improved Read Quebec Book Fair!

Join superstar cartoonists Walter Scott (Wendy), Éloïse Marseille (Naked: The Confessions of a Normal Woman), and Chris Oliveros (Are You Willing to Die for the Cause?) for a candid discussion about creating stories in pictures and words, finding humor in everyday life, and contemplating what could be next for Montreal’s thriving comic arts scene.
